The Imperfect Doctrine (未完成の極意, Mikansei no Goku'i) is a succession of attacks and onslaught used by Son Goku in 🐲Dragon Ball Super. As the name suggests, this technique is used by him when transformed into the incomplete form of the Supreme Selfish Doctrine.
Taking advantage of his physical and supernatural abilities, along with the speed from using the Selfish Doctrine incompletely, Goku flies and rotates over the opponent, initiating a succession of consecutive super-fast punches, upon finishing with the flurry of blows, he knees the opponent in the crotch to launch a large wave of blue ki similar to a Kamehameha (this part of the technique is named as Accelerated Battle Spirit in some media) that propels him towards a pillar, which he holds onto with his hand and feet, subsequently, he takes a big jump with which Goku tries to finish the technique with a hard punch that is fast thanks to the momentum given by the jump he performed. However, since Goku was never able to properly finish this technique completely due to the energy🔋 expenditure, the strength of this fist is unknown.
Son Goku uses this technique in the Tournament of Strength after obtaining the Premonitory Selfish Doctrine in his fight against Jiren. While attempting to finish the technique with the final fist, Goku exhausted his energy🔋, resulting in him being unable to deliver an effective blow to Jiren, who blocks it with only one hand and defeats him with a blast of energy.
The Unpolished Doctrine first appears in a video game in 🐲Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle. In Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2's Extra Pack 2, it is part of Goku's combos in his Supreme Selfish Doctrine state.
It later reappeared in a paid DLC set of the Dragon Ball FighterZ game's third season pass, as a Level 2 attack of Son Goku (Supreme Selfish Doctrine) under the name Unpolished Doctrine.
